History would reveal otherwise, but some part of me attributes Bloons with starting the tower defense genre. So many sequels later, it’s still one of the very best you can find on iPhones. Unorthodox, and likely never to be repeated, Her Story is one of the best narrative games ever seen on iPhone. 23. Hyper Light Drifter

Hyper Light Drifter is one of those games where you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t enjoy it.
